I’ve tried emailing to receive my topics / readings but haven’t gotten any responses back? I just don’t know how to get access to the actual copies of the ads.
Hi Chelsey!
Apologies for this issue!
Our organization (Society For The Blind) is undergoing some changes in IT infrastructure and we are in the middle of figuring out what is the best way to proceed regarding volunteer communications and reading assignments.
Thank you for your understanding and patience and will reach out to you soon!
Appreciatively,
Attila
Hi again,
I shared an issue of the Sacramento Bee with you through OneDrive, but I just realized that you need a Microsoft account to access it… Please let me know if you don’t have one, and I will find another way to share the paper.
Thank you again for putting up with all this! The current situation is quite frustrating for us as well…
Appreciatively,
Attila
Hello, thank you for your reply. I completely understand. I unfortunately do not have a Microsoft account. I appreciate you trying to help me solve this !
Hello ! I did get the reading actually. Thank you! However I had two questions to clarify. Since I am reading the Sac bee and it’s quite lengthy would you like me to submit the entire recording at once or should I upload in parts as soon as that section is finished? And If I am also describing each individual image seen ? Thank you .
Hi Chelsey!
Whichever option is more comfortable to you. Most readers upload them in batches, but some do it once all is finished. There is no deadline for newspaper articles, so there is also no rush:)
Some images are only decorations, fillers, etc., and you can safely ignore these.
Otherwise, if you feel that the images relate to the story, please describe images with a few words that you deem pertinent to the content. No need for elaborate descriptions, and we found that keeping it simple by using one or two sentences is the best.
Thank you!
