1. How to read this ad?
Step 1. Record a header (1 recording)
One audio recording with the following information:
- Store name
- Dates the specials are valid
- Date of recording
- Notice that both chains have the same flyer
Sample text:
“Lucky and Save Mart supermarkets. Specials are valid from December 18, Wednesday to December 25, Wednesday. Recorded on December 18. Please note that both chains belong to the same retail company, therefore their flyers are the same.”
Step 2. Record the flyer section by section (1 recording per section)
A recording for a section will include the following:

Section title
e.g., “grocery”, “bakery and deli”Usually, the first section has no title and continues until the first colored boundary (in this case, until the section with the header “VALUE MADE FOR YOU - SAVE WITH QUALITY BRANDS”). You can give this recording the section title of “Featured specials”.

3. How to distinguish sections?

Usually, the first section has no title and continues until the first colored boundary (in this case, until the section with the header “VALUE MADE FOR YOU - SAVE WITH QUALITY BRANDS”). You can give this recording the section title of “Featured specials”.
The rest of the sections will be surrounded by one thick, continuous, colored boundary and some whitespace. If there is no boundary, it will still have a title.
